Winning Toads
25th March 2011

Toads Carry off Tourism Award
Last night at a glittering ceremony hotsed at Bridlington Spa, Larkin with Toads carried of the award for category Most Remarkable Experience of the prestigious REYTA's (Real East Yorkshire Tourism Awards).

The 40 wonderful scuptures, inspired by the Philip Larkin poems Toads, and Toads Revisited, suprised and delighted residents and visitors to the city of Hull in the summer of 2010. This accolade from the people of Hull and the East Riding is fantastic recognition of the amazing toads and the artists who decorated them.

Larkin25 would like to thank everyone who voted for the toads, we couldn't have done it without you.
